Annie's first performance in years was an extremely impressive one. In 1995 she went to the US following the success of her solo career and around the time, the release of her second album 'Medusa'. She embarked on a major promotional tour comprising of chat shows and expectations were high by the time she reached The 'Summerstage' on September 8th in New York City.

Reports couldn't have been more positive with many overwhelmed by the performance they had witnessed. In my opinion, Annie Lennox has never been or sounded better than she did during this concert.

"Lennox is a remarkable live performer. Maybe now she'll do it more often." said Rolling Stone. "A magical evening…..simply awesome" came the words from the Hollywood Reporter. The high quality of the sound must be attributed to the superb production values of Steve Lipson.

The video includes footage of Annie getting ready for the big day and is interspursed with actual concert footage and rehearsals. The result is not entirely disjointed, but instead, much more intriguing to see how everything has been put together.

We even see Annie after the concert discussing how the event went - which is a brilliant, hugely original touch. Following this, we see Annie's promos of her 'Medusa' videos which includes the singles 'A Whiter Shade Of Pale', 'No More I Love You's' and 'Waiting In Vain'. Lennox also discusses her reasons behind the videos' structure and content plus reasons why she chose the tracks and the importance they herald for her.
