Undoubtedly this is the song that broke Eurythmics to the World and was a smash on both sides of the Atlantic. It's a song that Annie and Dave have never been able to forget and probably the song they'll most be remembered for.

Released on a number of occasions including a re-release in 1991, on it's debut release it reached #2 in the UK and #1 on the Billboard Top 100 (US Charts).

The electronic beats are very familiar by now with a great hook in the lyrics of 'Sweet Dreams Dreams Are Made of This / Who Am I To Disagree / I Travel The World And The Seven Seas'. The video was also unusual with Annie taken on an androgynous appearance - infact the Americans asked for a passport to prove she was female after seeing the promo!

The strangeness of seeing Annie and Dave playing instruments in the middle of a field full of cows is something only they could get away with and an image fans will never forget. A clip from the famous video is also shown daily at London's Rock Circus.
