In sharp contrast to other tracks on the album, 'Regrets' appears to take a slice of older Eurythmics from albums 'Sweet Dreams' or even 'In The Garden'. Annie appears to be recalling an aggressive streak in personality - 'when my fist collides' she says, 'with the fur-niture' but always with 'Regrets'. She talks like somebody without control.
