Track : MISSIONARY MAN
(From Album 'Revenge')The first track on Eurythmics' fifth album 'Revenge' is the strong force of 'Missionary Man'. The track itself starts off - much like something out of a Western with whirling sounds., before building up to a dramatic climax. Annie sings deep and leaves the higher notes on this occasion to her backing singer 'Joniece Jamison'.
The video which includes some great effects is highly impressive but was originally banned from being shown to a PG audience for it's adult orientated content. The song itself includes some hard edged lyrics but the main message is 'You can fool with your brother - but don't mess with the Missionary Man'. We won't.
