Track : I'VE GOT A LOVER (BACK IN JAPAN)
(From Album 'Savage')An unusual song lyrically and difficult to disect, the track has little to offer in beat or instrumentals. Annie appears to imagine the fantastical idea of having a 'lover back in Japan / he's my Superman' as she refers to him. She also talks of 'another lover in Timbuktu' so far from being realistic, this seems more of a take on a bumbling woman trying to impress a friend.
It appears to be more of a light-hearted take of a fastasy and fits in well with the hysterical pananoia present in the lyrics within the album and the imagery within the videos taken from the record.
