Track : FOR THE LOVE OF BIG BROTHER

Annie's voice is haunting during this record. The track however begins in Grace Jones style with intriguing rifts. 'I hear the echo of your footsteps on the stairs' says Annie. It's one of the few tracks on the album with changing lyrics. '(I) Still recall the images that seem to linger there'. It's suggesting that there's something there, an expectation or sense of being watched perhaps, but Annie concludes that she's waiting for 'no one there at all'. A song that hints at paronoia but has a grip on the reality of the situation.
